Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CareerShot ("CareerShot," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our iOS app, website, and photo-generation services. CareerShot is operated by Hangzhou Seafon Technology Co., Ltd. (杭州锡沣科技有限公司). Service availability may vary by App Store region, app version, and operational status.

1. Information We Process

We process the photos you choose to upload, the career style you select, generated images, information about purchase or entitlement status, and technical diagnostics needed to operate the service, such as app version, device and operating-system version, request time, and error information. We do not directly collect complete payment-card details.

2. Photos and Generated Images

Your uploaded photo is used only to fulfill your requested headshot generation, preview, and export. We do not sell your photos or use them to train CareerShot-owned models. The photo passes through CareerShot's HTTPS gateway in memory to the generation service and is not written to CareerShot's persistent image storage. Generated results are made available through temporary links from the model provider. You may request deletion of identifiable generation records after use.

3. AI Service Providers

When you request generation, your photo passes through CareerShot's Vercel HTTPS gateway and Cloudflare Worker service before it is sent to the currently enabled third-party image model for processing. CareerShot currently uses Black Forest Labs (BFL) FLUX Kontext Pro. We send only the photo and instructions needed for the requested generation. Before enabling OpenAI, Google, Stability, or another provider, we will update this Policy, in-app disclosure, and App Store privacy information. A provider's handling of information it receives is also governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Purchases

Apple processes payment information for available In-App Purchases, and we do not directly store complete card numbers or payment credentials. Available products, prices, subscription renewal, and refunds are those shown in the App Store and governed by Apple's applicable policies.

5. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect service data, including server-side API keys and access controls. Model API keys remain on the server and are not included in the app or public source code. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may contact us to request access to or deletion of identifiable uploaded photos, generated images, or account-related data. To locate a request, provide the time, email address, or generation identifier where available; do not email the original photo or sensitive identity information. We may ask for information needed to verify the request and will respond within the period required by applicable law.

7. Children

CareerShot is intended primarily for job-search and professional profile use. It is not directed to children under 13. Minors should use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product, model providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the date above.
