This Privacy Policy explains how CareerShot ("CareerShot," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our iOS app and related services.

1. Information We Process

We may process the photos you choose to upload, the career style you select, generated images, purchase status, and technical diagnostics required to operate and improve the service. We do not intentionally collect payment card details.

2. Photos and Generated Images

Your uploaded photo is used only to fulfill your requested headshot generation and export. We do not sell your photos or use them to train our own models. The original upload is deleted after the generation request finishes. Generated results are deleted by default within 24 hours.

3. AI Service Providers

When production generation becomes available, we may send the minimum information required to an approved third-party image model through our server. We will identify the active provider and explain its data handling before launch. The current local demo does not send photos to an external model.

4. Purchases

High-resolution exports are planned to use Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes payment information, and we do not directly store complete card numbers or payment credentials. Available products and prices will be those shown in the App Store at launch.

5. Data Security and Retention

Before public launch, production services will use HTTPS, authenticated APIs, rate limits, signed download links, and content safety controls. Model API keys remain on the server and are not included in the app or public source code. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may contact us to request access to or deletion of your uploaded photos, generated images, or account-related data. We may ask for information needed to verify and locate the request, and we will respond within a reasonable period as required by applicable law.

7. Children

CareerShot is intended primarily for job-search and professional profile use. It is not directed to children under 13. Minors should use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product, model providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the date above.
